A recent graduate of the architecture program at Rhode Island SchooL of Design, Ruthie Bandit began djing AS a creative outlet while pursuing her master’s degree. Her carefully chosen frequencies turned heads and she soon found herself supporting (and headlining) sonic experiences in clubs, dance halls, and sought-after venues in New York, Chicago, Boston, and beyond.
Ruthie Bandit crafts each set AS a sensory journey; she explores the sonic palettes of disco, house, and funk through the psychedelic lens OF rock music. Her onstage energy and connection with the crowd has created profoundly impactful moments, always leaving with the audience WANTING more time ON HER DANCEFLOOR.
Anchored by a desire to be involved in a cause greater than herself,Ruthie Bandit co-founded the non-profit PARC, with Peter Anspach in 2021. Through PARC, the two artists collaborate on designs for different mediums, aiming underscore the importance of sustainability and environmental impact by introducing a critical message into a circulation network that is unsuspecting.
